VTP vs GVRP, the winner? Neither..

In a large network, keeping VLANs synchronized can be a challenge. Having automatic tools to ensure automatic and correct distribution of VLANs helps to reduce the chance of some of our human errors and typo's, and also just to make our lives easier

Two fairly well-known protocols that are capable of automatic propagation of VLAN information are: VTP and GVRP. Both protocols provide similar functionality:

1. VTP is a proprietary protocol from Cisco. Which is great for distributing VLAN information between switches, so-long as it's an all Cisco network, things are great.
2. GVRP is a standards based solution, but suffers from a less widespread support, some vendors such as Cisco do not support GVRP (only on the old CatOS)

Either can work find if you only have a single vendor of switch to manage, however in a mixed environment you will likely need a SNMP Manamagent utility that can synchronize between the two, as there doesn't seem to be a Layer-2-protcol based solution, so keep your eyes open for plug-in's for your management applications, or support within the application for VLAN synchronization.

Facebook Phishing::::::::

Phishing is one of the easiest methods that you can use to hack Facebook accounts or any other email accounts ,In this article i will explain how you can Hack Facebook accounts by using a Phisher (fake login page ) .

If your new to Phishing or you don't know what exactly Phishing is, then kindly read my previous article What is Phishing

Hack a Facebook Account Using a Fake login Page

1. First a fall you need a fake login page for facebook (fake.html),and a Php script to redirect and capture the victims passwords (login.php), You can download both the files from Here

2. To get the password click Here

3. After you download the files, Open login.php,with a note pad and search for the term www.enteryoursite.com and replace it with the site address where you want the victim to be redirected ,finally save it

Note : This a very important step redirect the victim to a proper site other wise the victim will get suspicious .In our case we are making fake face book login page so its better to redirect the victim to www.facebook.com/careers

4. Now create an account at Free web hosting site like 110mb.com , T35.com or ripway.com

5. Now upload both the files (fake.html , login.php ) to your hosting account and send the fake.html(fake facbook login page) link to your victim

Example :-
www.yoursite.110 mb.com/fake.html

6. Now when the victim enters all his credentials, like login name and password in our fake login page and when he clicks login He will be redirected to site which we did in step 3

7. Now to see the victims id ,password, login to your hosting account "110mb.com " where you will see a new file "log.txt" .Open it to see the victims user id and the password

How to Hide Secret Files In Image Files:

This is a simple trick to hide any files inside a picture file like a jpg or png image. This is very simple and needs only command prompt and a file compression tool like WinRAR. Just follow these steps toturn a normal picture file into a secret file package!

Step 1: Add all the files you want to hide into an archive using WinRAR.

Step 2: Copy the archive and the picture you want to put the files to a new folder.

Step 3: Unselect all the files and right-click while holding Shift and select "Open command window here" from the menu. Or else you can open cmd and change the directory to the directory of the folder. For example if you have put the archive and picture to C:\Users\Master\Desktop\Gadget then type the following command in cmd: cd/d "C:\Users\Master\Desktop\Gadget"

Step 4: Assuming that the RAR file name is Secret.rar and the image file is Image.jpg, type the following command into the command prompt window: copy /b Image.jpg + Secret.rar FileName.jpg Replace FileName with any name you want for the output image file with the files hidden in it.

You will have a new jpg file with the files hidden in it. Now the question is how to retrieve the hidden files from the picture. To do that open the image file with WinRAR. Or else change the extension of the image to .rar andthen open it. You will see the file you hid in the picture. If an error is displayed repair the file using WinRAR.

This is a great way of sending secret files to a friend under coverunless you decide to hide a large file in the image file and somebody sees that the picture has such a large size !
